HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital opens new women’s care floor

HCA Florida St. Lucie Hospital marked the opening of a newly expanded Women’s Care floor designed to meet growing demand for maternity services on the Treasure Coast. The expansion includes a Level II neonatal intensive care unit, new labor and delivery suites, two obstetric operating rooms, and an obstetric emergency department, helping fill a regional gap left by the closure of Cleveland Clinic Martin North’s maternity unit as population growth continues.

Barnes & Noble confirms Port St. Lucie opening in 2026

Barnes & Noble will open a new 13,000-square-foot bookstore at Town Center at St. Lucie West on February 18, 2026, occupying the former Party City space at 1745 St. Lucie West Blvd. The opening is part of the company’s broader national expansion, which has seen more stores open in recent years than during the entire previous decade.

Yard House sports bar-restaurant plans Port St. Lucie location

Yard House has submitted plans to open a new sports bar-restaurant at the Landing at Tradition plaza, adjacent to Olive Garden at the intersection of Southwest Village Parkway and Tradition Parkway. Known for offering more than 100 draft beers on tap, Yard House would add another major dining option to the growing Tradition area if approved by the city.
